Vacation

After a long pause while I prepped for vacation and was on vacation I’m back. Had a wonderful time to reflect on my life and spend time with my boy. First we went on trip to the Water Park up in Federal Way, WA with our family friends Dusty and her daughters. We had a great time despite the cloudy weather. We left the water park at the perfect time as soon as we left the rain really started coming down. On our way home we stopped at the ape caves and explored it for a bit. Michael really liked it and was fearless, about the cave which was really cool.

Then my boy spent 2 nights out camping with me and we went on a wonderful hike and saw four waterfalls. One of which I had never seen before. Michael was excited about this prospect as he said, ”It’s a once in a life time opportunity!” I found it pretty funny. The second half of the trip, after my son returned to his moms, was much like a sprit walk. I may have the wrong name but it is common practice among Native American cultures for individuals to find them selves by taking a journey in the wilderness. I felt like that and I think it was good for me. I came back feeling recharged. Some times spending a night or two in the woods staring at the fire is good for re-centering ones self.
